In the photovoltaic industry, ITO conductive glass serves as a primary transparent conductive electrode and is a critical functional material for thin-film photovoltaics and next-generation battery technologies. Leveraging its high optical transparency and excellent conductivity, it is extensively utilized in perovskite solar cells as a front electrode to facilitate light incidence and carrier collection. In bifacial crystalline silicon modules and Building Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV), ITO glass balances power generation, visible light transmission, and structural integrity.
